I've been marketing online for a few years.  I've also found that most online marketers don't have or use capture pages.  I feel the need of a capture page is very essential for any business.

You might be asking, "what is a capture page?" Keeping it simple, a capture page is used to collect information from people so they can receive more information about your business, product or service.  You're using this capture page to captivate your audience with quality information about whatever you're promoting in hopes that they like what they see and hopefully signup with you.  

If you're an affiliate marketer and you promote an affiliate business, you need a capture page.  Most affiliate pages don't give much information nor does it have anything to capture if someone visits your affiliate page. How would you know if someone visited your affiliate page?  You wouldn't know at all and that's where a capture page would come into play.  Yeah you promote and advertise your affiliate link, but is that enough to get someone to signup with your company?  

Well with a capture page, you have the ability to have potential signups for your business by capturing their name, email or a phone number.  You're also able to have a video (if your affiliate page doesn't have one) about whatever you're promoting included on this capture page.  Then by capturing all this vital information, it allows you to contact the person and possibly sign them up into your business and it peaks their interest in what you're offering. Capture pages is also a great way to build your list and generate leads.

I currently promote an online business called "Feeder Matrix."  If I were to just advertise my affiliate link, all they would see is written information about my business.  Click here to see an example of my affiliate page.  As you could see, there was nothing on that page to capture your visit, no video explaining about my business or no way for me to reach out and thank the person for visiting my page. What if they have questions before wanting to join?  Having a capture page would resolve that problem.
